Arrival time

We recommend that you plan ahead for your relaxing visit to our spa. You are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment at the spa. This will give you enough time to check in, fill out the necessary consultation cards, get changed and enjoy our signature rituals.

 

 

Appointment

We recommend making a reservation in advance. To make an appointment for the perfect treatment, call the spa at 2111-1656. Please allow at a minimum of 3 days when booking for weekdays appointment and 1 week for weekends appointment. Also allow 2-3 weeks when booking packages with multiple guests and services.

 

 

Respect

To respect everyone’s Spa experiences, we appreciate that you keep noise levels to a minimum and switch off your mobile phone before entering the premises.

We also recommend that you avoid alcohol consumption prior to your treatment.

 

 

Special Health Considerations or Allergies

If you are under doctor’s supervision or using any medications, please obtain permission from your doctors before scheduling/receiving any services. It is your responsibility to inform persons performing services/treatments of any medical conditions or physical limitations you have (including but not limited to: heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, recent injury, accident or surgery, sensitivities, allergies, skin condition or pregnancy).

 

 

What to wear?

Maintaining your comfort is extremely important to us. Most Spa treatments are enjoyed without clothing and you will be discreetly draped at all times. Disposable underwear, slippers and robes are available for use. You will be reminded to bring your swimwear if a hydro-massage is applicable.

 

 

Valuables

No valuables be worn at the spa. Retreat Spa accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of valuables of any kind.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All Cancellations

As a courtesy to other clients and staff, a minimum of 24 hours notification is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment for weekends and public holidays. A minimum of 4 hours notification is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment during weekdays.

No shows and cancellations made in less than the allowed time will be charged in full price.

 

 

Late Policy

Arriving late will give limits to the precious treatment minutes. Each session needs to finish exactly on time as a courtesy to the next client. If you are 20 minutes late without contacting us, your treatment time may need to be rescheduled, be counted as no show and fee will be applied.

 

 

Refund Policy

Regarding all membership, treatments, spa packages, gift certificates and products purchased is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason whatsoever.

What to wear: Yoga on Mat

We recommend yoga or loose-fitted clothing for body enlightening. Comfortable clothing will also help attendees do poses in an easy and smooth manner.

 

 

What to wear: Air Yoga on Hammock

All attendees of Hammock Yoga classes must wear T-shirt or any sleeved top. Since this type of yoga makes use of suspended hammocks, the skin on upper arm area must be protected from prolonged rubbing, which causes redness, irritation and pain.

All jewelries must be removed before going for any AGY classes. Gel nails, blings, metals and the likes can damage the silk AntiGravity® Hammock.

Arrival time

We recommend that you plan ahead for your relaxing visit to our yoga center. You are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled class. This will give you enough time to check in, get changed and warm-ups.

Attend the class

We cannot guarantee a space if you arrive:

1. Less than 15 min prior to air yoga class start time

2. Less than 10 min prior to yoga class start time

Cancellations

We require that you notify us of cancellations 4 hours prior to your class or spa appointment on weekdays and 24 hours on weekend & holiday. The 24 hour notice is required for private sessions. Late cancellations or no-shows will be billed to your membership package.

Class bookings

It can be made two days in advance of the scheduled class.

Class size

The class size is limited in order to provide personalized attention.

Do not disturb

Do not bring cell phone to class. Leave socializing and business outside the studio. It can also be distracting to yourself and others to have extended or loud conversation.

Expiry

Bodywize Yoga membership and Private membership have 1 year expiry. Expires 1 year from date of purchase.

Gift certificates

Give the gift of relaxation, rejuvenation and wellness with Bodywize Gift Certificate, which are available for all treatments and packages. Gift certificate expires 3 months from date of issue.

Group bookings

Relax in our retreat to catch up with friends and family for some special time together. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, arranging a corporate event or just looking for a relax venue, we can provide for your every need. If you would like to book a group, please email to  yoga@bodywize.com.hk. For a special group booking, we require a 50% deposit to be paid at the time the booking is made.

Late policy

All yoga and air yoga classes will start exactly at the appointed time. Once the class begins, classroom doors will be locked. Late entrants will not be permitted to attend the class. Knocking on doors of on-going classes is strictly not allowed.

Practice on an empty stomach

Avoid to eat two or three hours before class. Digesting food also takes energy that can make you lethargic.

Pregnancy

During pregnancy, you are not recommended to continue yoga practice at any point. Post-natal yoga should be done 3 months after a natural birth and 6 months after a caesarean delivery. If in doubt, please consult your doctor for medical advice before proceeding with any exercise.

 

Suspension

The member must give a minimum 10 days' notice prior to begin date of suspension. The member can suspend for a maximum of 1 month for each 12-month basis of membership.

Tell your injury

Let your teacher know about injuries or conditions that might affect your practice. If you are injured or tired, skip poses you can't or shouldn't do, or try a modified version.

Typhoon & Black Rain

 

If warning is hoisted during NON-opening hours (overnight), studios will remain closed and will open 2 hours after the warning signal is lowered.

 

If however the warning signal is lowered on or after 6pm, studios will remain closed for the day.

Weekdays:

 

If T8 signal or above is hoisted during opening hours, all studios will close 30 minutes after the warning signal is hoisted.

 

Studios will re-open in 2 hours if the warning signal is lowered before 6pm.

 

For black rain, studios will remain open if the warning signal is hoisted during opening hours.

 

Weekends & public holidays: If T8 signal or above is hoisted during opening hours, all studios will close 30 minutes after the warning signal is hoisted.

 

Studios will re-open in 2 hours if the warning signal is lowered before 4pm.
